After working at BinckBank for 10 years, Chris founded Ohpen in 2009, the first cloud-based core banking company in the world. After leading the company as CEO for ten years, Chris stepped down, sold his shares, and founded Whangai to help entrepreneurs scale their company. It is the merger of his creativity and knowledge of technology and dealmaking that helps his clients, network, and partners achieve their ultimate business goals and lifelong dreams.

He is also the author of the #1 Amazon bestselling Monkey Money Mind and Banking the Cloud

Frans led the business as the CEO for the next 10 years, turning it into a pan European organisation with offices in 5 countries, before it was successfully sold to San Francisco-based EventbriteAfter the acquisition, he stayed on leading the European team while the company went public in 2018 at the NYSE.
