Techleap.nl Rise showcases Netherlands’ rich startup environment

Amsterdam, 25 August – Yesterday, nine promising Dutch tech startups entered Batch 8 of the Rise programme of Techleap.nl, a non-profit organisation aimed at accelerating the tech ecosystem in the Netherlands. Techleap.nl’s Rise programme helps promising tech startups scale their company by creating a learning community to support the development of world champions in the Dutch technology sector.

The companies selected for Batch 8 are: Athom, Connecterra, Delmic, RTI Blockchain, Samotics, Sitly, Somnox, Trunkrs and Winc Academy. These companies are active in industries as diverse as logistics, agriculture, healthcare, e-learning and childcare.

As part of the programme, Techleap.nl ensures that the selected scaleups have the best learning and network infrastructure at their disposal. Specifically, they gain access to leading experts, networks, and resources to learn from the best entrepreneurs and grow internationally.

The BOLD community

Participants also benefit from the experience of Rise alumni, who are members of the BOLD community, Techleap.nl’s curated community of over 400 Dutch scaleup founders and CxOs. Previous participants in Techleap.nl Rise include The Cirqle, Felyx, Floryn, Lightyear, Temper and TestGorilla.

Tjarda Voorneman, Head of Programmes at Rise, says: “Techleap.nl brings tech companies in the scale-up phase together to create a peer-to-peer learning community. For each batch, we select companies that have a natural fit, not necessarily in terms of industry, but in terms of philosophy. The success of our programme comes from the willingness of participants to open up about their experiences so others can learn from them.”
